Citizens of Denmark will be allowed to visit Vietnam without a visa regardless of passport type and entry purpose if:

1.    The intended period of stay is up to 45 days (both days of entry and departure included);

2.    The traveller holds a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of entry into Viet Nam;

3.    The traveller possesses and presents upon request, a valid outbound ticket from Viet Nam within 45 days from the date of entry;

4.    The traveller has not been banned from entering Viet Nam.

Other travellers should apply for traditional visas as usual before leaving their home country.

Travellers who intend to stay in Viet Nam for up to 45 days but do not possess a return ticket, or ticket to a third country, or who travel on an open ticket should have valid visas before entering Viet Nam.
